The much-awaited 2011 Ford Mondeo range is almost here, and we have pricing and launch details to prove it. Ford Australia has finally publicly released details for the new lineup, including improved safety features, standard equipment, and styling, which account for marginal price increases ranging between $450 and $750.
The all-new MC Mondeo will be popping up at most local dealerships this week, accompanying the LX and Zetec models. Following suit will be the Titanium hatch, which will arrive here next month, followed shortly thereafter by the Titanium wagon to complete the refreshed range.
The previous MB models will be sold at existing prices until the MC variants arrive.
Notably, all variants gain significant updates including restyled bonnets, tailgates, bumpers, grilles, taillights, glass-mounted antennas, passenger seat lumbar support, and satin black audio surround.
The top-of-the-range TDCi model also acquires several safety features including driver alert, lane departure warning, adjustable speed limiting device and automatic high-beam headlamps. Alternately, both Titanium models are equipped with a blind spot information system, LED daytime running lights and an updated Human Machine Interface system.
An element, which does remain unchanged, is the engines – the range maintains the two 4-cylinder engines from the current range.
