The new 2011 Sportage has been officially launched by KIA Australia. The new version of the well-known compact SUV, incorporates a cutting-edge design aesthetic, distinct from its previous generations.
The new Sportage offers a revised look – clean and elegant from front to rear. There is also a wider range of choices offered to buyers.
Three different engines are offered:
• 2.0-litre petrol, which delivers 122 kW and 197 Nm of torque (five-speed manual and six-speed auto)
• 2.4-litre petrol with 130 kW and 227 Nm of torque (auto only)
• 2.0-litre R-diesel engine (shared with the Hyundai ix35) that puts out an impressive 135 kW and 392 Nm of torque (auto only). This choice is perhaps the most acclaimed pick.
