Bluetooth Update for 2011 Subaru Liberty & Outback Ranges

‘Sooby’ lovers will be delighted to hear that the 2011 Liberty and Outback models are now being offered with Bluetooth wireless technology. Moreover, its available across both model ranges.

The technology was previously available for ‘selected’ models from either range. However, now the entry-level Liberty 2.5i and Outback 2.5i models will also have Bluetooth compatibility.

According to reports, the automaker hopes the update will enhance consistency across the ranges, giving them a more logical progression.

The brand has recognised that Bluetooth is an increasingly sought after feature.

Managing Director for the Australian branch, Nick Senior, claims that the move represents Subaru’s “commitment to steadily refining our specifications with the start of every new model year.”

However, the warmly welcomed addition will be the only change to the 2011 model year Liberty and Outback ranges. This is not particularly surprising given the young age of both models, which are progressing stealthily in their infancy.

Despite increased individual sales figures for both models, the Liberty market share has decreased 5% this year, while the Outback has decreased by 3.2%.

The newly updated 2011 models are currently being showcased and are available for sale at local dealers.
