Bugatti Veyron, The Least Green Car On The Road

Though ‘green’ is seemingly the new black, not everyone is following suit it seems. According to the eco-conscious organisation EPA, Bugatti’s Veyron is the least efficient vehicle on the road. With a top speed exceeding a whopping 400km/hr and a thirsty capacity for 29.4L/100km in the city, the revelation hardly comes as a surprise.

The current production model, equipped with a hefty quad turbo W16 was clearly not developed with tentative regard to fuel efficiency, and has been receiving some heavy criticism from the EPA following the discovery.

On the other hand, the ‘green’ association has praised the fuel-frugal propensity and general efficiency of the Toyota Prius. Allegedly the ‘greenest’ vehicle on the market at present, the Toyota Prius has become popular among celebrities and laymen alike, with its low sip rate of 4.6L/100km.
