Ford SZ Territory Price Leak

Looks like there will be no surprise at next month’s Ford SZ Territory launch with the pricing of the new SUVs being leaked to the Carsales Network.

However, there will be plenty to look forward to with many features added to give more value to the Territory TX. Some features include USB port, iPod integration and Bluetooth and in relation to safety there is Emergency Break Assist, Rollover Mitigation, reverse parking sensors and a kneebag for the driver.

One good piece of information from Ford is that the entry-level Territory TX has a price increase of less than $100; however the seven seat option increases the price by $2000. If the third row of seats is not necessary then the Territory TX RWD is a bargain with an upgrade to the ZF six-speeder.

The mid-range Territory TS which is the petrol-engined rear-wheel drive has had a price rise of $2500; however it still has the same improvements as the TX model. However, the audio system changes from the SY II’s six-disc CD audio system to a single-disc head unit.

The final model, Territory Titanium, has a price increase of $2100, but also comes with standard satellite navigation as well as the other features mentioned above.

Due to the approaching launch of the SZ model, the petrol all-wheel drive is being excluded for the new range. The inline petrol six is now just for rear-wheel drive cars and the diesel engine is for the all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive.

It is important to consider the financial changes from petrol to diesel. Buyers are going to spend an extra $3250 for the Territory, however this is smaller compared to what people estimated the cost to be.

Some examples of prices for the SZ Territory are:

TX RWD petrol: $39,990

T X RWD diesel: $43,240

Now that the prices are out, buyers have time to consider the pros and cons before purchasing.
