Impounded Sportscar Sold

It has been announced today that a $150,000 sportscar impounded by police has sold for $7000 above its reserve price. The car was impounded by police after Lewis Hamilton; a formula 1 driver performed a ‘burn-out’ in St Kilda.

Mercedes-Benz spokesman has remarked that the car, a C63 AMG was sold yesterday to a Melbourne dealer. It is unknown what the dealer intends to do with the car. According to the spokesman, the additional money from the sale will be donated to the official charity of the Australian Grand Prix, the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

The spokesman said the extra money from the car’s sale would be donated to the Alannah and Madeline Foundation, which is the official charity of the Australian Grand Prix.
